Victoria launches the Cellowalker School!

Welcome to Cellowalker, my new Cello School!

Maybe this is the start of your musical journey, or you’re looking for a new perspective. Either way I look forward to sharing my passion for music with you.

I love playing the cello which is why I am still doing it after 35 years. I’ve met some fantastic people, travelled all over the world and immersed myself into a world of music that I could now never be without.

I’m always on the lookout for new talent and for the past 20 years teaching has been a big part of my life. I’ve always got a kick out of helping a budding musician develop their skills and their passion for music. And it’s always so much fun!

So when lockdown started and we were all forced online, it was a whole new challenge. And to my surprise it’s been a fantastic experience. Suddenly we were in a whole new world of musical communication and my eyes were opened to new methods of getting the message across.

Then life appeared to go ‘back to normal’. But to my surprise many of my students continued with online lessons, some instead of in-person and others in addition to.

My students really enjoy the flexibility that we now all have, with less need to travel to and from lessons and much more stability when life has felt anything but at times. Mixing online with in-person lessons has given us all the option to continue learning wherever we are and whatever we’re doing!

I can’t wait to see everyone’s progress and there’s lots of exciting plans in the pipeline.
